MONTREAL – March 30, 2021– Potloc, Inc., the pioneer in leveraging the reach and precision of social media for improving consumer research sampling, today announced it has expanded its relationship with global management consulting firm Roland Berger. The two companies have entered into a premium agreement that provides Roland Berger with a robust offering of services and support for its worldwide research needs.
The agreement builds on an established relationship between the two firms, which includes the successful sampling of more than two dozen worldwide surveys that utilize Potloc’s unique ability to precisely target hard to reach audiences. Potloc and Roland Berger have collaborated on research for clients in a wide range of industries such as retail, consumer packaged goods, travel, food services, transportation, financial services, and real estate. This includes a comprehensive survey of the change in consumer buying habits during the Covid-19 pandemic.
"The Terra Numerata partnership between Roland Berger and Potloc is primed for success: multiple consulting projects and studies have been successfully conducted using Potloc's insights through consumer surveys, where we have leveraged their worldwide reach sampling methodology via social networks," said Axelle Lemaire, global head of Terra Numerata at Roland Berger.
“Roland Berger understands that surveys need to be conducted where people are talking. After completing dozens of studies that have delivered high-quality data, we are excited to expand our relationship to offer our sampling technology via social media at scale. We look forward to working with the global team of consultants at Roland Berger to continue to produce the critical and laser-focused data they need to provide strategic guidance to their client base in B2B and B2C sectors,” said Rodolphe Barrere, CEO and co-founder of Potloc.
The agreement builds additional flexibility and range of services into the partnership, allowing Roland Berger to conduct rapid “teaser” surveys, as well as achieve faster turnaround times on more comprehensive research needs, often with multi-country surveys completed in under ten days. Strategic input in survey development, unlimited access to survey dashboards, and volume pricing discounts are also included in this level of agreement with Potloc.
Potloc’s innovative approach to surveying precisely-defined, low-incidence audiences uses the targeting capabilities of popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others. This allows it to sample very specific niches based on detailed demographics, locations, purchasing behavior, and other important criteria Roland Berger researchers need to produce the best quality survey results.
Roland Berger has seen how Potloc’s approach improves on the execution times, audience relevance, and quality of results that challenge traditional survey methods such as phone interviews, focus groups, web panels, and email surveys. Unlike methods that use a pool of paid or randomly contacted respondents, Potloc’s surveys reach highly targeted, fresh, and qualified audiences.
